In the field of motor sports ax-lightness produces, apart from the Inside components, above all supporting structure components of racing cars such as frame structures and engine elements, also aerodynamic components like bodywork, spoilers, splitters and diffusors. ax-lightness is specialised in thermally highly stressed elements in the engines and exhaust system as well as in brakes ventilation. The carbon fibre-reinforced components are so successful that recently three Formula 1 teams have been directly provided by us. Additionally our parts are also used in the Le Mans LMP1 and the DTM.
